Seven black-clad women, with raised fists and megaphones, dance outside the Market Hall Performing Arts Centre, symbolically seeking permission from the land before leading the audience into the theater for Vástádus eana (The Answer is Land), a powerful choreographed concert that amplifies the suppressed voices of the Sami people.

Don’t miss out on Peterborough Performs for a fantastic lineup of sixteen local music acts across two stages, all in support of United Way Peterborough & District Partner Agencies addressing homelessness in our community. Re-live the Experience with The AC/CD Show! You’ll hear hits from both eras, Brian Johnson and (the late) Bon Scott as lead vocalist. The show is an authentic audio/visual recreation of the legendary Australian band. With the stacks of Marshall amplifiers and the grit of the mighty Gibson SG lead guitar, this musical tone is sure to capture your attention from the opening notes.

14. Hang out at the Museum with the Marionettes

The whole crew from the Peterborough Puppet Guild’s vast collection is on display, set within themed vignettes that include the Wizard of Oz, King Neptune, and Liberace’s band!
