Texty Tuesdays are here! Join Artspace in this exciting five-part series where we learn about all things text.
Get ready to dive into the world of text through creativity and expression. Each Texty Tuesday session includes interactive writing exercises, group discussions, drawing, and other forms of artistic expression. It’s also a fantastic opportunity to meet fellow wordsmiths, share ideas, and feel inspired.
Don’t worry if you’re new to writing or if you’re a seasoned pro – everyone is welcome! We believe that everyone has a story to tell, and this event is all about celebrating the power of words.
Session Calendar:
April 16th: National Poetry Month (NaPoMo)
NaPoMo 2024 has the theme of “weather”. Join this national movement, and come make your own poetry ‘zine or chapbook on the theme. We will read poems about weather, we will write poems about the weather, and produce, on-the-spot, illustrated ‘zines and chapbooks.
June 18th: Pride in Poetry, with special guests!
July 16th: TBD
