Peterborough Musicfest Presents: Road Apples, A Tribute to The Tragically Hip

Hailing from the very birthplace of the revered Canadian rock group they pay tribute to, Road Apples are Canada’s original and premier tribute to the iconic band, The Tragically Hip. Fittingly, the songs of one of Canada’s greatest musical acts will echo throughout Peterborough’s Del Crary Park on Canada Day, July 1st, 2024, a mere 50 km south of the town that inspired their legendary lick “Bobcaygeon.”

Formed in Kingston, Ontario, Road Apples has been performing The Hip’s music professionally since 1992. Now in their fourth decade, the band has performed thousands of live concerts at theatres, arenas, music festivals, and other venues from coast to coast across Canada. Members of Road Apples pride themselves on delivering The Hip’s work to audiences in a respectful and faithful fashion without diverging interpretations or gimmicks.
