Satisfy your sweet tooth and your sense of wonder!
Begin your journey Kawartha Sweets and Eats, where famous homemade butter tarts and comfort food awaits you, right off of Hwy 28. Right next door is The Little Frozen Yogurt Company – grab a cup of soft serve now, or on your way back from the morning’s adventures (come back in 2026 – mini golf is coming!). If brunch is on your mind, try something delicious at Mammoth Barbeque, like their brisket, blackened chicken, or pulled pork.
After your meal, take a hike through the drumlin and across the boardwalk on the Robert Johnston Ecoforest Trails. Pair your short hike with a visit to the Ontario Turtle Conservation Centre – discover the Education Centre, shop a variety of turtle merchandise, and learn all about the wonderful work they do.
