Plan a visit during Douro Doings! On Labour Day weekend for the past 95 years, the community gathers for a day of family fun featuring a baseball tournament, 10 km run, car show, children’s races, frog jumping contests, tug of war, a home-cooked meal, and a chance of winning a one-of-a-kind handmade quilt.

Each year, The Township of Douro-Dummer hosts an annual Santa Claus Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony. Travelling through the hamlet of Warsaw, the parade draws locals and visitors alike. Following the parade, a tree lighting ceremony takes place at Millennium Park, accompanied by visits with Santa, cookies, hot chocolate, and holiday carols!
