Lake Edge Cottages
Lake Edge Cottages is an Award-Winning, Pet Friendly Resort offering 1- and 2-bedroom cottages, all smoke-free with free high speed WiFi, fireplaces & gorgeous lake views. Located 1.5 hours from Toronto 5 minutes from the village of Lakefield on Katchewanooka Lake.
Our Cottages include a fully equipped kitchen, propane BBQ, all bedding, towels, paper products and more. Rates include the use of the canoes, paddle boats, rowboats & kayaks. Four of our 8 cottages have romantic, relaxing, private hot tubs. We are truly a pet friendly resort. Lake Edge is situated on 12+ acres where you can enjoy walking through the forest and around the frog and turtle pond with your dog. Play horseshoes, badminton or volleyball. Fishing boats and a pontoon boat are available to rent by our cottage guests. You can fish for perch, small and large-mouth bass, pickerel or walleye and muskie. You can launch your boat on-site and dock your ship with or with-out electrical hook up for a daily fee. Experience a narrated cruise of the lake on our pontoon boat with Steve to learn about the history of the area and see wildlife like great blue herons, loons, otters, beavers, deer and osprey. Visit the Thursday Lakefield Market by water or car. Relax in a lounge chair or hammock. Swim from shore or dock. Refresh yourself in our 12 x 40 ft heated pool. Gather around the bonfire to star gaze.
