Located in the rolling hills of southern Peterborough County, just 15 mins from the City of Peterborough and 20 mins from Port Hope, our beautiful grounds, sculpture garden and recently updated barn have been the venue for art exhibits, workshops, concerts, camps and small celebrations.

At Rice Lake Arts we invite you to draw inspiration from nature while exploring your creativity through a variety of visual media, storytelling or improv led by skilled local artists, who also love to teach. We welcome artists and community groups to reach out regarding potential collaborations.

In 2026 our workshops include wood and stone carving, tapestry and basket weaving, yarn spinning, ceramics, glass mosaic, storytelling and more. And we continue to be one of the only art centres in the area where you can learn to sculpt in stone with all the hand tools and equipment provided, and we especially enjoy working with complete novices!
