First Stop: Mosey Through Millbrook

The rolling hills of southern Peterborough County provide the perfect backdrop to view the fall colours. This route will bring you to the historic town of Millbrook, a quaint village lined with locally-owned shops selling artisan work, food products, and art. Prep for the perfect fall picnic by picking up charcuterie from Millbrook Mercantile, baked goods from Pastry Peddler, and Doo Doo’s famous butter tarts for dessert.

Second Stop: Harvest Hues at the Vineyard

Just up the road, Rolling Grape Vineyard is a great spot to stop for a drink (something for all ages!), wood-fired pizza and swing into a photo-opp patio side.

Third Stop: Fall Back in Time

Another ‘fall’-tastic option is Lang Pioneer Village’s Grist Mill and if the timing is right, you can step back in time at one of Lang Pioneer Village’s special events like Applefest or Historic All Hallow’s Eve.

Fourth Stop: Harvest Hunt on the Farm

Harley Farms is your final stop on this harvest hunt. Time to stretch your legs on a walking tour and forage some friendships with the farm residents. Before you leaf, be sure to stop in at the farm store for assorted meats, seasonal veggies, and other locally-made goodies.

Settle in for a Scenic Night on Rice Lake

Soak up the fall colours a little longer and stay the night at Elmhirst’s Resort located on the shores of scenic Rice Lake.
