Business Registration for tourism businesses.

Apply to register a business with Peterborough & the Kawarthas Tourism (PKT). To qualify, your business must rely on the visitor economy for its main source of revenue. Businesses registration with PKT is also available for businesses in the tourism sub-sectors of culinary, hospitality, entertainment, agritourism, arts & culture, live music and accommodation.

All registered businesses must be located within the City of Peterborough or the County of Peterborough. There is no cost to register a tourism business with PKT.

Travellers are looking to immerse themselves in local culture and participate whenever and wherever they possibly can, to experience the true stories of a destination. Our goal is to work with our tourism businesses to build high quality, people and program based tourism experiences.
Examples: Farm to table dining right at the source: Creating art piece with local artisan; forest foraging; interact with an animal via farm experience; guided tour interacting with locals.
