Have you ever wondered just what it’s like to be a farmer? Are you ready to get your hands dirty, climb some fences and learn how we keep our animals healthy and happy?
Harley Farms is now offering “Farmer for a Morning” experiences! Become part of the Harley Farms team when you help feed and look after many of our most famous residents, including the Nigerian Dwarf Goats, Emus and Flemish Giant Rabbits! Pull on your gardening gloves for some quality time in the Education Centre greenhouse, and then enjoy free time in the Harley Farms play area!
Choose the extra hour add-on to take a closer look at pig village, greet the cows in the summer pasture, and walk through some of the acres of fields filled with lambs.
Some spare gardening/work gloves are available, but we highly recommend bringing your own. Don’t forget your water bottle and a snack – being a farmer can be hard work!
This activity is best suited to participants aged 4-14. Children under 8 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
