The Peterborough Singers present this glorious work in English and welcome organist Ian Sadler as well as a chamber orchestra and four outstanding soloists. The Passion is the dramatic story of the last days in the life of Jesus. Each character and even the crowds that gathered are included: soloists take on the roles of Jesus, Pontius Pilate & his wife, the Roman Centurion who stood by the cross, two High Priests, Simon Peter, Judas Iscariot, and St Matthew the Evangelist.
