Trent Valley Archives’ Annual Plant Sale

Get some great new plants for your garden or donate some extra plants and support Trent Valley Archives!

Fall is right around the corner and that means it is almost time for fall gardening! Fall is an excellent time to plant – the warmer soil helps roots get established in preparation for next year’s growing season. This leads to more blooms and more robust plants the next year.

A great opportunity to buy plants is coming soon on Saturday, Sept 23, 2023, 8 am to noon at Trent Valley Archive’s 7th Annual Plant Sale at 567 Carnegie Ave, Peterborough, just north of the Zoo. It will be mostly composed of perennials, with herbs and small shrubs. If you’re not sure what plants to purchase, gardening books and knowledgeable gardeners will be on hand to help you identify the best species for your garden.

And if you have plants to donate, please drop them at the Archives from Sept 19th through Sept 21st during regular business hours. We appreciate your support which keeps our archives flourishing! If you have questions, please contact us.
