Peterborough Folk Festival, Canada’s longest-running free-admission folk festival, runs from August 13-16, 2026 at downtown venues and Nicholls Oval Park in Peterborough, Ontario.
Celebrating 37 years of music, culture and community, the free-admission weekend portion of Peterborough Folk Festival features four stages of exciting and diverse live music, a children’s village, 40+ artisan vendors, a food village, a licensed pavilion, and more. The festival kicks off with an opening night concert on Thursday August 13 at the Market Hall Performing Arts Centre with PFF 2026 Emerging Artist, Tristan Konkle, opening for a headlining artist TBA. Saturday and Sunday at Nicholls Oval Park will feature a stellar lineup of notable Canadian artists, including Bahamas, Begonia, The Pairs, Kelly McMichael, The Young Novelists, Dean Johnson and many more.
