Opening Reception: Antoine Mountain

Join the Art Gallery of Peterborough for an opening reception to celebrate Antoine Mountain’s, “Ets’ehch’I; Traditional Dene Burial Practices.” This exhibition is comprised of twenty-one paintings that share depictions taken from stories, beliefs, and traditions as an epistemological tool of Dene resurgence.

For this special event, these works will be installed in the Main Gallery. “Ets’ehch’I; Traditional Dene Burial Practices” will remain on view in the upper ramps from Wednesday, March 30 to June 30, 2024.
