Community Meal at the Spoon & KWIC Workshop

The Seasoned Spoon welcomes everyone to a Community Meal, by donation. Join us for a delicious, vegetarian meal at 6 pm at the Seasoned Spoon. You are invited to stay for the second portion of the evening for an interactive discussion and workshop on Gender Equality with KWIC (Kawartha World Issues Centre). Together we will learn about and examine 5 key areas of local importance, including:

• Gender-Based Violence
• Equal Pay and Work Opportunities
• Equal Leadership
• Sexual and Reproductive Health
• Unpaid Care and Domestic Work

This workshop will be an interactive learning opportunity where we can share our knowledge and experiences while learning from each other building bridges toward a more peaceful, harmonious, and non-judgmental community where no one is left behind.
