Buckhorn Santa Claus Parade

The Buckhorn District Lions Club is pleased to announce that the 6th Annual Santa Claus Parade will take place on Saturday, November 14, beginning at 2:00 p.m. This year’s parade will follow the traditional Buckhorn holiday route, starting at Foodland Buckhorn and travelling to the Buckhorn Community Centre, where families and visitors can enjoy the final festive gathering including photos with Santa, hot dogs and hot chocolate.
The parade will showcase colourful floats, local organizations, community groups, and a special appearance by Santa Claus, bringing holiday cheer to residents of all ages. Spectators are encouraged to line the route early to enjoy the full procession as it makes its way through the village.
REMINDER: The roads along the parade route will be closed from 2:00 to 3:30 so attendees are encouraged to arrive early and park at the Buckhorn Community Centre

Support the Newly Opened Buckhorn Food Pantry
In the spirit of community giving, attendees are encouraged to bring non perishable food items or household essentials to support the newly opened Buckhorn Food Pantry. Items can be dropped off at the Buckhorn Community Centre. Every contribution helps support local families and strengthens the community as the holiday season begins.

A Celebration of Community
The Buckhorn Santa Claus Parade continues to be one of the region’s most beloved traditions, drawing neighbours, families, and visitors from across the Kawartha area. The Lions Club extends heartfelt thanks to local businesses, volunteers, and sponsors whose support makes this event possible each year.
