Attempt at the Worlds Longest Conga Line on Skates

Skaters are needed to create the worlds longest Congo line along the historic Peterborough Lift Lock canal in February. Organized by Runner’s Life, the event is planned for Sunday, Feb. 4 at 10 a.m. The event is open to skaters of all abilities.

“The current record is 595 and I think we can easily surpass that with so much enthusiasm for skating in our community,” says Dave Dame, owner of Runner’s Life and event organizer.

For every participating skater, Runner’s Life Ltd will donate $1 to the ComPassion Project (https://compassionptbo.ca up to $1,000.
