Large natural wooded or open campsites, fully serviced with hydro, village water, dump stations, central washrooms and free showers.

  • Spend some time on the water in a canoe or kayak. Enjoy flat water, a gentle current, and great scenery and wildlife along the Otonabee River and Katchewanooka Lake.
  • Paddle around to the Imagine the Marsh Conservation Area, a Provincially Significant Wetland. It is protected for source water protection, biological diversity, conservation education, and nature appreciation
  • Bring your own canoe/kayak or rent one onsite. Rentals are available 9:00 am to 4:00 pm Sunday to Thursday and 9:00 am to 6:30 pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday of long weekends.
  • Enjoy the many facilities at nearby Lakefield Beach. Hike or ride your bike along the Lakefield Trail, which loops around Hague Point and through the Village of Lakefield.
  • Lakefield Campground is surrounded by water, with stunning views, fishing, trails, playgrounds, a beach, and amenities nearby.
