Canada’s most Sustainable building! Using innovative green architecture and showcasing alternative energy in action.

Located within the breathtaking wildlife sanctuary that surrounds Trent University, the Camp Kawartha Environment Centre showcases a number of innovative sustainable features and alternative energy.

This unique 2,000 square foot structure is open year round and can accommodate up to 80 people, with free parking, tables, chairs, a ceiling mounted projector screen, wireless internet, lectern, and a small preparation area with fridge, microwave, sink, and coffee maker.

During your breaks, enjoy some fresh air under the shade of our timber frame outdoor classroom, or pause for a few moments near our unique pond habitat.
