Planning a vacation on the Trent-Severn Waterway this September? Along with beautiful cruising routes, historic locks, and charming waterfront communities, you’ll have the chance to enjoy a series of free live music performances at several popular destinations along the route. It’s a great opportunity to experience local communities, explore waterfront towns, and enjoy live entertainment while traveling by boat.

This year’s performances feature Kentucky, the musical project of Ontario singer-songwriter Jordan Holman. Blending rock, folk, and acoustic storytelling, Kentucky has built a following across Canada through heartfelt songwriting, energetic live performances, and a deep connection to the communities he visits. As he travels the waterways, boaters and visitors alike will have the opportunity to enjoy free live shows in some of the Trent-Severn’s most iconic waterfront destinations.

End the day with an evening performance in one of the Trent-Severn’s most welcoming waterfront communities in The Kawarthas. Located at 18 Bridge St, Lakefield – a Trent-Severn Trail Town Community, Canoe & Paddle is a proper English Pub beside the river in downtown Lakefield. Whether you want to relax with a pint after a long day, celebrate with your friends or grab some of the best fresh food around, The Canoe & Paddle is the local hole by the water that you’ve always wanted!
