Bowie Fest Canada 2023

Outshout Entertainment presents BowieFest Canada 2023 on October 20/21, 2023 in Peterborough Ontario.

The event pays homage to the sights and sounds of David Bowie and features a number of events throughout the 2-day celebration.

Friday, October 20 8:30 pm
Join fans at the Crook and Coffer British Pub, 231 Hunter St W, for the launch party and Bowie Karaoke! Host Andrew Stoeten will spin Bowie karaoke on request and award one lucky singer with tickets to Saturday night’s concert at Showplace.

Saturday, October 21
1. The day kicks off at 1 p.m. with the Bowie Bazaar in the lobby of Showplace Performance Centre. On offer, Bowie collectibles, T-shirts, LPS, rare DVD, and more. The Peterborough Arts Collective will also be on-site selling unique one-of-a-kind original pieces of Bowie-inspired art.

2. Downstairs in the Showplace Lounge “Ziggy Played Guitar” begins at 2:30 as up-and-coming solo acts “audition” for their chance to join the opening set Saturday night, by performing one Bowie track. For all musicians interested in taking part contact info@thebowielives.com

3. Local artist Jason Wilkins will also be on hand in the lobby from 7-8 pm creating a unique piece of Bowie art, live before your eyes!

4. Finally, at 8 pm, The Bowie Lives returns to Peterborough and takes the stage with a brand new show. New songs, costumes, and multimedia will entertain fans new and old. The opening set includes performances by The Hippie Chicks, Lisa Canivet, and the winner of “Ziggy Played Guitar.”

Attendees will be sure to stay behind after the show for photos and the band’s Meet and Greet!
