Take a step back in time, see Peterborough County as it was in the 1900’s at Lang Pioneer Village. Shop ’till you drop at Millbrook Mercantile, The Valley Shoppe and ZimArt Rice Lake Gallery.

Touring around can really build an appetite, stop for a bite at the Pastry Peddler, Muddy’s Pit BBQ. Don’t forget to stop at Doo Doo’s Bakery to pick up some of their famous butter tarts!

When you’re ready to stretch your legs, stop at Darling Wildlife Area and explore the trails along the shoreline of the Otonabee River. Or stop at Harley Farms and enjoy a walking tour of the farm.

This is not your typical gallery! Founded in 2000, this unique sculpture park is home to the most comprehensive, eclectic selection of Zimbabwean stone sculpture in Canada. It’s a must-see destination for art lovers of all ages.

Lang Pioneer Village Grist Mill

Muddy’s Pit BBQ

Authentically Barbequed meat on custom outdoor smokers using only log hardwood. At their BBQ Shack you can also dine in or take your BBQ home. Muddy’s always has daily side dishes to go along with our Pork Back Ribs, Pulled Pork, and Beef Brisket. They are a seasonal business open from April to the end of December.
