On protected land we love to use lightweight back country cooking equipment. We are passionate about respectfully using the land. \nEvery adventure is unique to the next. This is what makes booking with us so special and it’s the reason that we continue to be inspired by this signature experience. \nYou will receive an email approximately one week before your booking date with a detailed breakdown of the day and a weather update. We operate rain or shine (so long as there is no thunder/lightning). In this case\, we will reschedule for a different date. \nDepending on the location\, there may be extra parking fees that are not covered. We often utilize public and protected land\, but some excursions happen at provincial parks where there are day pass fees. We will give our guests a heads up on the experience update email if/ when parking will be an additional cost.

DESCRIPTION:Looking for a fun activity for this upcoming PA Day Hutchison House Museum will host a solar eclipse themed Day Camp on April 8\, 2024 from 9:30-12pm. Children will create a variety of eclipse themed crafts as well as decorate a pair of solar eclipse glasses that meet the international ISO 12312-2 standard and are approved by the American Astronomical Society. Children can then use these glasses for viewing the solar eclipse later in the afternoon. Cost per child is $25. Children are required to bring their own peanut free snack. Registration is required.
