SUMMARY:Repair Café & Clothing Swap
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a free\, hands-on sustainability event\, focused on giving new life to old favourites and keep usable items out of the landfill!\n\nClothing Swap – Bring your gently used clothing and swap for something new-to-you! Participants are encouraged to bring clothes to swap in advance or day-of but it is not required. Cleaning out your closet? Bring in what you no longer need and take home something you love.\nRepair Café – Volunteer fixers will help repair small appliances\, clothing\, and more. Participants are encouraged to bring in an item for repair and a volunteer fixer will help to fix it\, giving the item renewed purpose.\n\nTogether\, we’ll reduce waste\, support reuse\, and build a stronger\, more sustainable community.\n\nDrop off your clothing in advance:\nLang Pioneer Village Museum\n104 Lang Rd\, Keene ON\nNovember 24–27: 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM\n\nPeterborough County Public Works Building\n310 Armour Road\, Peterborough\, ON\nUntil November 27: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM\n\nLeftover clothing will be donated to Diabetes Canada\nRepairs supported by our friends at Repair Café Peterborough\n\nFor more information visit: https://www.ptbocounty.ca/living-in-our-community/recycling-and-waste/events/
