SUMMARY:The Keene Pumpkin Festival
DESCRIPTION:The idyllic countryside hamlet of Keene Ontario\, located just 15 minutes east of Peterborough has played host of The Keene Pumpkin Festival since 2007. A family event that is fun for people of all ages. \nExperience country charm in the picturesque hills of Keene. Be amazed at the giant pumpkin weigh-off\, with some gourds weighing over 1000 lbs. Delight at the decorated pumpkin pyramid\, and entertain the kids at the fun Kid Zone with bouncy castles\, face painting and other great activities throughout the day. \nClimb through the mini bale maze or enjoy the petting zoo\, horse and wagon rides\, or watch the Hot Diggity Dog performances. Great vendors for shopping\, and a variety of delicious local foods are available. Wet your whistle in the Lions Pub\, and enjoy live music on stage. Quilt raffle draws\, and an antique car and tractor show on site. Come and enjoy country hospitality at its finest. All are welcome. \nTickets are $5 for 13+\, $2 for 12 and under upon arrival at the festival.
