Don’t miss this evening of magic and mystery that will captivate your imagination and leave you in awe. \nCrime Stoppers mandate is to assist the Police in solving crimes\, thereby making communities and schools safer. The program encourages members of the community to call anonymously with information that assists in solving or preventing crimes. For this information\, cash rewards are offered to anonymous callers when their information assists the police in recovering stolen property\, seizing illegal drugs or when an arrest is made. Crime Stoppers has been serving the community since 1987.

Generous businesses and community members have donated products to help stock the shelves in our Elf Gift shop! We want all children to be able to participate in the holidays. Regardless of their budget or how many people on their list- We’re going to help them pick out something for the special people in their lives.\nSanta!!!! I know him!!!!! Meet Santa Claus\, share your Christmas wishes\, and snap a memorable photo with the man in red. (Parents can take photos with their own cameras/phones) Free\nCraft Stations: Let your creativity shine with holiday-themed crafts. Kids can make their own ornaments\, holiday cards\, and other fun projects to take home. Free\nCookie Decorating: Kids can decorate their own Christmas cookies. Icing\, sprinkles\, and all the sweet toppings will be provided. Free\nFace Painting: Transform into your favorite holiday character or get a festive design painted on your face. DESCRIPTION:Join the Foley family and musical friends for the 20th edition of A Cozy Christmas! This years theme is Christmas Around the World. You’ll hear stories by Hugh Foley and your favourite seasonal songs by Bridget Foley and the Gospel Girls\, Murray and Sibernie James-Bosch\, Theresa Foley\, Sheila Prophet and Norma Curtis\, Colleen Anthony\, Amelia Foley\, Lochlan Craighead Foley\, Vera Vandermey\, Lizeh Basciano\, Glen Caradus\, The Woodhouse Crooks\, The Men: Fr. Tony Barol\, Fr. Martin Dalida\, Lito Garcia\, Oswaldo Bacareza and Marcelo Saplagio\, and more! \nCome early (opens at 12:30pm) and browse through the “village” in the lower level studio where artisans sell lovely gifts for those still on your list. \nAll the artists donate their time and all money raised is sent to LIberia W Africa to a school Theresa works with. We find sponsorships for under-privileged children who otherwise would not be able to attend school. This concert pays a Christmas bonus to the teachers (who often go without pay) and this year we are also sponsoring one of our graduates from the program who is now attending university to become a nurse. That’s what we call a success story.

DESCRIPTION:The Tenors are bringing their “Christmas With The Tenors Tour” to Peterborough for one night only on Sunday\, December 17th. \nThe Tenors is an international vocal group made up of four incredible musicians; Victor Micallef\, Clifton Murray\, Alberto Urso and Mark Masri. They perform operatic pop music which is a mixture of classical and pop\, with original songs and tributes that range from new songs like “Miracle” and “Christmas Miracle” to classics such as “The Prayer”\, “Nessun Dorma”\, “Forever Young”\, and “Hallelujah. \nThe Tenors recently welcomed Grammy and Juno award nominee and international recording artist Mark Masri and the most celebrated new voice to emerge from Italy in a generation\, winner of Italy’s most prominent TV competition “AMICI”\, Alberto Urso.

Sifting through filing cabinets packed with layers of paperwork\, notes\, and images feels a bit like an archeological dig. We make careful work of it\, pausing when we unearth something precious\, like a handwritten letter on fine paper or a photograph with younger versions of familiar faces. \nThis juried exhibition invited artists to submit original works of art that resonate with themes of legacy\, archives\, nostalgia\, ghosts\, memory\, survival\, and growth. \nTree rings and stratified rock mark the passage of time and changing conditions\, like layers of once fashionable wallpaper. The strata of our lives can be studied and excavated\, unleashing seams of joy\, curiosity\, wonder\, or grief. Throughout three ramps and the main gallery\, works by fifty-five artists bring forward the findings of their own excavations.

DESCRIPTION:As the Art Gallery of Peterborough enters its 50th anniversary year in 2024\, we are digging into our archives and reconnecting with our founders to engage with our past. Looking through old photographs and archives offers us a chance to marvel at where we’ve been and where we’ve come from; at what has changed and what remains. Sifting through filing cabinets packed with layers of paperwork\, notes\, and images feels a bit like an archeological dig. We make careful work of it\, pausing when we unearth something precious\, like a handwritten letter on fine paper or a photograph with younger versions of familiar faces. \nThis juried exhibition invited artists to submit original works of art that resonate with themes of legacy\, archives\, nostalgia\, ghosts\, memory\, survival\, and growth. \nTree rings and stratified rock mark the passage of time and changing conditions\, like layers of once fashionable wallpaper. The strata of our lives can be studied and excavated\, unleashing seams of joy\, curiosity\, wonder\, or grief. Throughout three ramps and the main gallery\, works by fifty-five artists bring forward the findings of their own excavations.

DESCRIPTION:Artspace is kicking off its 50th anniversary year is an exhibition dedicated to their valued membership!  \nThroughlines: 2024 Juried Members’ Exhibition proudly presents the work of 20 of Artspace Members\, including a media arts installation in Gallery 2 co-presented with ReFrame Film Festival. On the commencement of this milestone year\, we asked artists to submit work imbued with a look back and a look forward\, while asking ourselves\, what are the most consistent traits of our membership? What are those characteristics that draw artists to artist-run culture. What are the throughlines? \nThe threads that characterize the last five decades of artist-run culture at Artspace\, however tangled or pristinely woven\, heart-achingly water-damaged or painstakingly archived\, are the relationships that built and continually reinvent Artspace. These relationships\, whether captured and retold as linear and well-documented narratives or as an ever-evolving patchwork of memories and vision\, will unfold well into the future. \nIn contemplating this milestone year\, it is natural – a default – to retell the familiar stories of our beginnings. And\, we will tell those compelling and valuable stories. But there are and there will be others. \nEvery Artspace membership represents an influence into what Artspace can become. How can we ensure that the insights and wisdom of voices previously unheard are woven into the fabric of our story?
