Doldrums was written and directed by Tobias Bernstein\, and features Naomi Duvall and Kate Story. \nIn Two-Timing Loaf of Bread\, two women find out that they have both been dating the same lying\, cheating scoundrel – who also happens to be a loaf of bread. Two-Timing Loaf of Bread was written by Ryan M. Bultrowicz\, directed by Kate Story\, and features Naomi Duvall and Shannon McKenzie LeBlanc. \nAlex Trebek is dead\, Jeopardy remains hostless\, and a coven of Jabberwockys meet to find his replacement. The fate of the entire galaxy hangs in the balance as we learn the horrifying answer to What is Pumpkin Time? These items are a perfect way to start your Holiday shopping (and maybe a little something for yourself). There is also a special Christmas Café to enjoy while you browse or even take dinner home. Admission is $2\, or a non-perishable food item for the North Kawartha Food Bank. The event is one day only and runs from 10 am to 4 pm\, so be sure not to miss out! Theatre Shorts is a night of three short plays\, related only by being in some way strange! \nIn Doldrums\, two people are stuck on an island. If they keep looking across the ocean\, maybe a ship will come and save them. In the meantime\, they’ll each stay on their side of the island\, as agreed. Doldrums was written and directed by Tobias Bernstein\, and features Naomi Duvall and Kate Story. \nIn Two-Timing Loaf of Bread\, two women find out that they have both been dating the same lying\, cheating scoundrel – who also happens to be a loaf of bread. Two-Timing Loaf of Bread was written by Ryan M. Bultrowicz\, directed by Kate Story\, and features Naomi Duvall and Shannon McKenzie LeBlanc. \nAlex Trebek is dead\, Jeopardy remains hostless\, and a coven of Jabberwockys meet to find his replacement. The fate of the entire galaxy hangs in the balance as we learn the horrifying answer to What is Pumpkin Time? DESCRIPTION:A Short Film Festival for Peterborough\, ON filmmakers \nThe first year of the Peterborough Shorts Showcase promises to be exciting. Featuring local filmmakers\, including those living in the area\, from the area\, or that have filmed in the Greater Peterborough Area. The festival will take place on Sunday\, November 19th at 2 PM at Market Hall Performing Arts Centre in Peterborough\, ON. The festival will be open to all ages however subject matter may not be appropriate for all ages. \nThis festival has been generously sponsored by a grant from the United Way Peterborough & Area. Further sponsorship has been provided by the Market Hall Performing Arts Centre. Because of the generous sponsorship\, 100% of ticket revenue will go towards prizes for the top films. Each ticket will be $6 + $4 in service fees. The service fees go towards paying the cost for box office set up and the cost of tickets. Of the $6 ticket price\, $3 will go to 1st place\, $2 will go to 2nd place and $1 will go to 3rd place.
