For many\, the ritual of attending our annual performance of The Messiah is a way to embrace and absorb the sacred story of the birth\, death\, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. For others\, the ritual creates a sacred space for the solo human voice\, for inspired choruses\, for the sounds and the ancient words of a 280-year-old tradition.
