SUMMARY:Kawartha String Orchestra Presents: Annual Free Spring Concert
DESCRIPTION:The Kawartha String Orchestra (KSO) is pleased to present their annual spring concert on Sunday April 27 starting at 2pm at St. James United Church (221 Romaine Street\, Peterborough\, ON). \nThe theme of the concert is “Stage and Symphony”. Award-winning conductor and music director Tak Kwan and the KSO will play selections from Mozart\, pieces from popular musicals such as Les Miserables and The Sound of Music\, as well as two new compositions by local composer and KSO bassist Marcus Quin. Guest soloists include Tak Kwan (violin) and Marcus Quin (clarinet). \nAdmission is free; monetary donations to Upbeat! Downtown are gratefully accepted. UPBEAT!
