DESCRIPTION:🎉 Labour Day tradition is alive and well in Douro! \nThe 96th historic Douro Doings returns Monday\, September 7\, bringing a full day of small-town fun\, friendly competition\, great food and community spirit. 🚗⚾🎶 \nStart the day at Douro Park with:\n🚘 Car & Truck Show🏃 10K Run at 10:00 a.m.🏁 Kids’ Races at 12:00 p.m.\, followed by the Tug of War showdown⚾ Fastball & slow pitch🎵 Live entertainment🍳 Breakfast\, lunch and plenty of festival fuel \nThen head to St. Joseph’s Parish Hall from 3:00–6:00 p.m. for the much-loved Roast Beef Dinner + live entertainment\, followed by the famous Quilt Raffle and draws at 8:00 p.m. \n📅 Monday\, September 7\, 2026📍 Douro Park\, 205 Douro 2nd Line📍 St. Joseph’s Parish Hall\, 299 County Rd 8 \nCome celebrate 96 years of Douro Doings and spend your Labour Day surrounded by the traditions\, stories and community spirit that make The Kawarthas so special. 💚
