Snofest Word on the Hill: Discover Your Irish Heritage – Snofest Peterborough 2019

Join us for an afternoon of historical storytelling as local historian Marie O’Connor takes us back to the first European settlement in this area. Learn about our city’s namesake – Peter Robinson – and the events that led 2,024 Irish tenant farmers to build a new life here in Canada. Snacks & refreshments will be served.

  • Monday, January 21: PJ Story Time from 6-7pm at the Peterborough Public Library
  • Tuesday, January 22:Word on the Hill: Irish Heritage talk from 2-4 pm at the Peterborough Museum & Archives
  • Wednesday, January 23: Fireside Reading & Reviews for Adults from 2-3 pm at the Peterborough Public Library
  • Thursday, January 24: Adult Art Mingle from 7-9 pm at the Art Gallery of Peterborough
  • Friday, January 25 Snofest Extravaganza from 4-6 pm at the auditorium at PACE@PCVS
  • Saturday, January 26: Family Skate from 2-4 pm at the Peterborough Memorial Centre
