Peterborough Musicfest presents Said The Whale

Wednesday Jul 17 @ 8:00 pm

Peterborough Musicfest is proud to present Peterborough’s Paper Shakers, opening for Juno Award winning indie rock band Said The Whale, on Wednesday, July 17, at 8 p.m. – one of 16 performances presented this summer as part of the concert series’ 33rd season.

Formed in 2017, Paper Shakers – Jack Sole, Michael Hall, Whitney Hall, Luke Benjamin and David St. Pierre – consistently deliver a dynamic performance featuring energetic alt rock anthems that hook audiences with a heart-thumping beat, such as that featured on the singled Mona Lisa and Don’t Stop.

Writing songs layered with meaningful lyrical concepts situated in real-life experiences, Paper Shakers has carved its niche on the Canadian music scene, the result being a thought provoking dance party that typically leaves audiences wondering why they don’t attend more live rock shows.
