Saturday Apr 25 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)
A two day workshop happening April 25th and 26th
Two boys woodworking

The crooked knife has long been associated with canoe-making, paddle-making, basket-making, and woodcarving. In this two day workshop, each participant will make their own crooked knife, beginning with a bar of tool steel and using readily available hand tools. You will learn about blade and handle design, shaping and heat-treating steel, attaching and shaping a handle, and sharpening the blade while crafting your own one of a kind knife. Everyone will finish with a crooked knife made to comfortably fit their own hand.
