Winter has arrived in Peterborough & the Kawarthas, which means it’s holiday shopping season!

So maybe your mind is already locked into what family member, friend or loved one wants because of your countless hours perusing local shops on the web for the ideal gift. For those who are just starting their holiday hot list, there’s one genre of holiday shopping that has survived the fad stage of gift-giving.

We’re of course talking about antiquing!

Peterborough & the Kawarthas has a bevy of tremendous antiquing options for all occasions.

Nostalgic Journey is a multi-vendor antique, vintage, salvage and collectible shop. There are over 50 vendors in this 9000 square foot shop just on the outskirts of town. There is something for everyone in the family here, from the collector through to the stylish one. Visit their 2000 square foot century church filled with decorative, period furniture, original art work and accessories.
