INSTRUCTIONS
Peel the apples, core and cut into thin slices,and add to the cider. Add the sugar, pumpkin and spices and cook slowly until the mixture begins to thicken, stirring most of the time. Continue cooking until, when cooled on a plate, mixture is of a good spreading consistency.INGREDIENTS
- 1 quart local apple cider
- 2 quart local apples
- 2 cup sugar
- 2 cup cooked local pumpkin
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 3⁄4 tsp ground cloves
- 1⁄4 tsp allspice
