Dinosaurs Live!

We used to have to watch movies and look at bones to see what dinosaurs were all about, but now you can see them up close and personal at the Indian River Reptile Zoo. The Dinosaurs Live exhibit displays over half a dozen life-sized beasts that move and roar. The staff has an amazing amount of knowledge about the prehistoric creatures and all the different reptiles they have acquired. Before walking up the dinosaurs, there are numerous reptiles inside and along the path from snakes to tortoises. The dinosaurs are set up along the nature trail, a great backdrop for the for these dinos on the loose.
The Indian River Reptile Zoo is open daily from 10am to 5pm. Be sure to check it out here in the Kawarthas before they go extinct again! The Dinosaurs Live exhibit is here until September 3rd.
