Come learn about our fish and wildlife conservation history and celebrate our hunting, fishing and trapping traditions.
The OFAH | Mario Cortellucci Hunting and Fishing Heritage Centre is a longstanding OFAH dream that has been made possible by the generous financial donation of Mario Cortellucci, a proud conservationist, avid angler and hunter and OFAH life member.
We invite you and your family though for a self-guided tour of our stunning wildlife displays, each having its own interactive touch screen to provide interesting facts about the fish and animals you see before you. No need to call ahead, just visit us during hours of operation to discover what’s inside. Or, drop-in on a Friday during the summer to take part in our free Tackleshare program and try your luck in our Shimano catch-and-release Fish Pond! Public fish-feedings are daily at 1:45pm.
We boast a large collection of Canadian wildlife on display, an impressive antique lure and decoy exhibit, interactive touch-screens, and the chance to see Ontario’s warm water fish live in our giant Shimano Aquarium. Let our state-of-the-art, high definition amphitheatre pull you into amazing conservation seminars and video productions, a great way to round out your trip to the Heritage Centre.
We host a variety of programs and facility bookings for all ages, including summer camps, March Break workshops, PA Day programming, birthday parties, and corporate or private events, which include the use of our Excalibur Archery Range, Stoeger Airgun Range, and Shimano Fish Pond!
Group tours are also welcomed. Call ahead to schedule your personalized tour and our staff of professional educators would be happy to guide you through.
