Heritage Day Celebration – Buckhorn Style!
Visit the Buckhorn Community Centre, Lakehurst Road, Buckhorn Saturday, February 18, 2017 to celebrate Heritage Day.
Be sure to mark your calendar for Saturday February 18 for a day for the whole family. There will be something going on inside and outside so dress for the weather. Bring your skates for the ice rink or borrow some from the equipment room for free! Music, vendors, food and a baking contest.
Vendors include: United Empire Loyalists, Ojibwa First Nation, Hiawatha First Nation, Community Care, Herb’s Honey House, Artisanity, Minden Fur Trappers, Recycled Goods by Lyn, Buckhorn & Area Quilters, Aboriginal Archeologist – John Swager, Hand Crafted Wooden Spoons, Ojibwa Bow’s for Pro’s, Kat’s Kitchen, Century Recipes, Basket Weaver/Potte. Outdoor activities include (weather permitting) Horse and wagon rides, snow shoeing (we have the shoes), skating (skates available) to name a few.
