Celebrate Canada 150 in Peterborough & the Kawarthas

Celebrate the 150th anniversary of Confederation at special events and activities that are being planned across the country. From local community events to national celebrations in 2017, there will be plenty of ways to get involved and celebrate all that makes us who we are as country.

Join in and participate in local, regional, and national celebrations that contribute to building a sense of pride and attachment to Canada.

With events throughout Peterborough & the Kawarthas there are many incredible ways to celebrate Canada 150!

Drop by the Visitor Centre to pick up your Peterborough County Canada150 Passport and get stamps by attending special events throughout the region. Once you have collected five (5) stamps, complete the contact page in your passport, and drop it off at a local Municipal Office or mail it to the Peterborough County Head Office and your name will be entered in to a draw to win a price!

Save the date for the Peterborough County Traditional County Fair on September 24, 2017. This event celebrating Peterborough County’s Townships and First Nations will be held at Lang Pioneer Village, 104 Lang Road, Keene.

Each Township, two First Nation Communities and the City of Peterborough have exciting events throughout the year don’t miss out!
